The first is Screw the Zoo, a new book on the subjects of personal mastery, and overcoming the mental and societal cages that keep us trapped. For now, there's just the book, but I'll be creating companion courses very soon.
My second is VUDU Marketing, a Seattle Internet marketing company that specializes in SEO audits and SEO strategy creation. I also offer traditional consulting (retainer based consulting only, no fulfillment services; I don't do link building, on-site edits, or anything of that sort).
As the owner of a growing business I have learned to handle a wide variety of tasks efficiently and effectively. The books "The Four Hour Work Week", "Rework", "Linchpin", "Delivering Happiness" and "Customer Service: New Rules for a Social Media World" have played major roles in defining how I approach management and business in general, and I consider them to be the ultimate Gen-Y business books (I should also mention "Business Model Generation", "The Lean Startup", and "The Education of Millionaires" just for good measure.)
VUDU Marketing also serves as the legal umbrella for all my affiliate marketing endeavors (CJ, Pepperjam, Share-a-sale, etc.) and various other online revenue generation activities (AdSense, Cafepress, Zazzle, etc.)
If you own a business and you need any of the above services, please, contact me.
In addition to Screw the Zoo and VUDU Marketing, I've started 3 other businesses in the past, 1 unofficial and 2 official, not including lemonade stands and lawn care services (and other, far stranger businesses) as a kid:
In high school and shortly after I dabbled in C++ & web dev/design under the name SamAntics (1999-2003).
I started an Internet consulting business in college called Cogito Celer (Latin for Think Fast, 2007-2008),
and a friend and I briefly started and ran a T-Shirt company called Tap That Gas (2009).
While all 3 of these companies are now resting in peace (pieces?), I've learned valuable lessons from each.
I'm an entrepreneur at heart, and I expect I'll be starting and running businesses for as long as I live and breathe. If you have an interesting idea for a business and are looking for a co-founder with my particular skill set, please let me know!
